By accessing the website at arcadiatreeservices.com or by scheduling or receiving services from Arcadia Tree Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the site or our services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Arcadia Tree Services provides residential and commercial tree services in Arcadia, CA and surrounding communities, including but not limited to tree removal, tree trimming, tree pruning, stump grinding, stump removal, land clearing, emergency tree service, and commercial tree service. The specific scope of work for any job is defined in a written estimate provided prior to the start of work.
All estimates are provided in writing after an on-site assessment. An estimate is valid for the scope of work described at the time of the visit. Prices are subject to change if site conditions differ materially from what was observed during the estimate, if the scope of work changes at the customer's request, or if unforeseen conditions are encountered during the job.
Verbal estimates, ballpark figures, and website-provided price ranges are approximations only and do not constitute a binding quote. A written estimate signed by both parties is the only binding agreement for price.
Scheduled appointments are subject to availability. We make every effort to arrive on the agreed date and within the agreed time window. Weather, equipment issues, or prior job overruns may occasionally require us to reschedule. We will notify you as soon as possible if a rescheduling is necessary.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee. Jobs that are cancelled after work has begun may be charged for the portion of work completed.
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless a different arrangement has been agreed to in writing in advance. We accept payment by cash, check, or other methods as agreed. For large projects, a deposit may be required before work begins - this will be stated in the written estimate.
We do not require full payment upfront before any work is performed. If a company requests full payment before beginning any work, this is a warning sign to be aware of when evaluating any contractor.
You are responsible for:
Failure to disclose known hazards or to provide adequate access may affect our ability to complete the work and may result in additional charges.
Certain tree work may require permits or approvals from local government authorities or homeowners associations. We will advise you if we believe a permit is required based on our knowledge of local regulations. However, the responsibility for obtaining required permits ultimately rests with the property owner unless we have agreed in writing to handle the permit process on your behalf. We are not liable for fines or penalties resulting from unpermitted work if you directed us to proceed without a required permit.
We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with the quality of the completed job, please contact us within 7 days and we will return to address any deficiencies at no additional charge. This workmanship commitment does not cover damage caused by events outside our control after the job is completed, including storms, pests, disease, or acts of nature. Tree health outcomes following pruning or trimming are not guaranteed, as trees are living organisms subject to environmental factors beyond our control.
Arcadia Tree Services carries general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. In the event of damage to property caused by our crew during a job, our liability is limited to the actual cost of repair or replacement, up to the limits of our insurance policy.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of use of property, loss of income, or damage caused by pre-existing conditions on the property that were not disclosed to us prior to the start of work. We are not liable for damage to underground utilities, irrigation lines, or other subsurface features that were not marked or disclosed before the job began.
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, our services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no representations about the future health, growth, or stability of trees that have been serviced. We do not warrant that any work will prevent damage from future storms, pests, or disease.
If a dispute arises between you and Arcadia Tree Services, we ask that you contact us directly first so we have the opportunity to resolve it. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation. Any legal action arising from these Terms or from services provided by us shall be filed in a court of competent jurisdiction in California.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. By using our services, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in California for any disputes.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page with an updated effective date. If you have a signed written estimate or contract in place, the terms of that document govern your specific project.
